The plot of The Fate of the Furious states that ?Now that Dom and Letty are on their honeymoon and Brian and Mia have retired from the game?and the rest of the crew has been exonerated?the globetrotting team has found a semblance of a normal life. But when a mysterious woman seduces Dom into the world of crime he can?t seem to escape and a betrayal of those closest to him, they will face trials that will test them as never before.?

Prior to the development of Fast 8, Vin Diesel was quoted saying ?I was trying to keep it close to the vest throughout the release. Paul Walker used to say that [an eighth film] was guaranteed. And in some ways, when your brother guarantees something, you sometimes feel like you have to make sure it comes to pass… so if fate has it, then you’ll get this when you hear about it. [Furious 7] was for Paul, [the eighth film] is from Paul.?
