After the huge success of Fallout 4, Bethesda aims to bring Fallout 4 VR in the future. In a recent interview, Bethesda?s director and executive producer Todd Howard said that the studio will bring the entire game in virtual reality. During E3 2016, the studio confirmed that players will experience the game in VR, and this time, Howard opened up more about the project.
Play The Entire Game In VR
Bethesda is working on Fallout 4 VR. Although the company is currently not in a position to talk about the release window, it says that the entire game will be available in VR. Once Fallout 4 VR arrives, players will be able to put on a VR headset and enjoy the Fallout world. The game will allow players to go wherever they want and let them explore whatever they want to, Howard added.
The franchise has seen tremendous growth over the years, especially with the skyrocketing sales of Fallout 4. So now that Bethesda is talking about the Fallout 4 VR release, the studio is not worried about the potential sales. With this release, the company is aiming to build something unique, Howard told Glixel in an interview.
It seems that Bethesda is not going to stop building Fallout and Skyrim titles. When asked about the life of the games, Howard said that the company understands that people do not prefer playing the same game again and again, but the company will make sure that players will get something new every time.
He said that the studio wrapped up the Fallout 4 update for PS4 Pro and is now aiming to bring something for Xbox One Scorpio. Howard confirmed that an update for Microsoft?s new console will indeed come. He said that the consoles keep inspiring the game developers to build new content. Although he didn?t mention any specific update for Fallout 4 VR, if the plans and update patterns are something to go by, we expect that the company would introduce something new for players.?
