Are you still having difficulty with Fallout 4 terminal hacking? All those symbols scattered across the screen aren?t just there to make you feel confused. Finding an open symbol followed by an close symbol will either replenish your attempts or remove a dud code.

Take note that both the close and open symbol must be on the same line. Having a word between the symbols will also not work.

If you?re having difficulty on finding them, you can just try scrolling through to see a highlighted bunch of symbols. But doing this might make you fail to see an open and closed symbol that are directly next to one another.

Try to practice finding the open and close symbols a few times without scrolling through the entire screen and you?ll soon easily spot them. Scrolling through the entire screen is also time consuming if you?re playing on the PS4 and Xbox One version.

You can try to remove duds immediately before even trying to click a code, but there is a chance that you?ll activate a reset attempt. Because of this, using your 2-3 attempts first before finding symbols is ideal.

Don?t worry about getting a 0 likeness because it means that all other codes in the screen which have the same letters are not the real code. I actually prefer to find a 0 likeness so I can scratch-out a lot of codes in the screen already. For me, getting a 0 likeness is more helpful than getting a code with 1 likeness.

Terminal hacking in this latest game is still similar terminal hacking in Fallout 3. Fallout 4 is available on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. If you?re confused on how terminal hacking works, you can check our basic terminal hacking guide with photos.
