Bethesda will not bring Fallout 4 PS4 mods anytime soon, so those who are looking forward to the mod support on Sony?s console will have to wait longer. Bethesda VP of Marketing Pete Hines, who initially announce mod support on PS4 by the end of June, has no clue on when it will be available.
On his official Twitter account, Hines told a fan that he doesn?t have any information on when the Fallout 4 PS4 mods will arrive. Hines said that he will not say anything until the evaluation process is over. Overall, the talks suggest that Bethesda has nothing new to share on when the company will introduce mod support.
Players on Xbox One and PC are already enjoying official Fallout 4 mods, while the players on PS4 are still waiting for the official confirmation. Earlier this year, Bethesda confirmed that the mod support for all the platforms will be available.
I'm saying I can't invent news until the evaluation process is over and until that happens im not gonna say nothing

Such response from the developer has frustrated some fans. Players believe that Sony is not letting Bethesda introduce mods for its PlayStation console. Without mentioning any specific name, Hines expressed his frustration toward the ?others? who seem to be causing troubles in the Fallout 4 PS4 mods release.
i don't disagree. we have explained that to "others" so we can get/share an update. so far it hasn't worked.

Fans believe that Bethesda and Sony will keep pointing fingers at each other while the players suffer the costs. Earlier this year, Bethesda confirmed that the mod creation tool will be delayed. Without confirming any official release date for it, the company indefinitely pushed back its release, and since then, no concrete information about the official Fallout 4 PS4 has been available.
The company is already working on Skyrim Remaster and many are angry that this Elder Scrolls game might beat Fallout in having mod support first on PS4. Sony is not sharing any details about the issue and it is likely that only Bethesda will address fans about any update in the future. Hines has not shared any details about when the evaluation process will be completed. The company earlier released an update for the game that addresses some issues with mods available on PC and Xbox One.
