When you step into Fallout 4?s Nuka World DLC, you?ll be introduced to three all-new Raider factions: The Disciples, Operators, and Pack. Aside from playing a major role in the story, each one has its unique combat style and backstory and faction-specific items for you to uncover. Here?s a rundown of what you can expect when you meet them.
This is described by Bethesda as a classic ?very bloody, very violent? gang. The disciples bear the closest resemblance to the raiders you?ve encountered in the other parts of Fallout 4. Their faction aesthetic certainly affirms this. Their members sport armor and weapons made from salvaged parts and scraps.
The Operators are a faction that prefers to work in the shadows, striking when you least expect it. According to Bethesda, the gang is more technologically advanced and sophisticated than the other two. Its members can be seen decked out in sleek, stealthy armor.
On the other side of the spectrum is The Pack. This group was described by Bethesda as ?absolutely crazy.? They look like a post-apocalyptic mash-up of Skyrim?s Barbarians and Forsworn, sporting intimidating face paint and armor embellished with bones. Expect The Pack to be a pretty deranged bunch.
Fallout 4 Nuka World casts your player-character as the overboss of the titular amusement park. Over the course of your playthrough, you?ll get to lead these three groups as you raise hell throughout the Commonwealth.
The add-on releases today on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Bethesda earlier said it?experienced a problem with the North American release on the PlayStation Network, but the problem has now been addressed.?
