Wondering how Fallout 4 mods will work on the PS4 and Xbox One? Using mods has always been an exclusive feature for those gaming on PC and many have wondered how developer Bethesda will officially make it available on consoles. According to Bethesda Marketing VP Pete Hines, mods will not require players to use a PC and it will be as easy as pressing a button.
?We want to do it in a way that?s easy. This is not about, ?You have to have a PC. You have to do it yourself?, Hines said per GameSpot.
?The idea is you go to play the game, there?s a menu option, you click on it, and there?s a bunch of stuff for you to download. And you click on the stuff that you want and you start playing a game with these new mods. So we want it to be a really streamlined, fun experience. There?s still specifics that we have to work out. It?s part of our post-launch plan.?
Mods or the Fallout 4 Creation Kit, will be officially launched in early 2016 on PC, GameSpot reported. Mods will be supported on the Xbox One sometime after the Creation Kit releases on PC. Those who on PS4 will have to wait a while longer before mods are supported.
Appreciation & DLC
Bethesda expressed gratitude for the support that fans has given them and also promised a lot of content hidden in the game. ?We?ve intentionally not shown or talked about much of what?s in the game,? Bethesda said in a statement. ?It?s there for you to discover (and there?s a lot there).?
DLC will be made available in 2016 and you can snag the $30 Season Pass so you can get?all the content that Bethesda will provide in the future. Bethesda will also previously said that they will provide ?regular free updates? for players, GameSpot reported.
