Fallout 4 Gets Too Real With Fallout Beer: Price, Taste, And Where To Get It

By on

Sorry no Nuka Cola just yet, but we will be getting a Fallout special edition beer.

First we have the life-sized Pip-Boy where you can use you smartphone as your Fallout companion. Now Fallout fans can enjoy a bottle of beer with a Fallout 4-themed beer, though it may not boost your strength and charisma. With the design giving a post-apocalyptic feel as you get yourself tipsy. The special edition beer is a partnership between Bethesda and Carlsberg to promote the upcoming Fallout 4 game.

Fallout Beer will have a 4 percent ABV pilsner with a refreshing zesty hoppy taste and floral aroma, it will be available in 300ml bottles, on the good side, it is not radioactive.

When Carlsberg UK Corporate Affairs Director Bruce Ray was asked about the limited edition beer, he said: “This is something of a world-first. Adult participation in video gaming is a truly social activity, on a par with cinema and music. We?re proud to work with Bethesda to produce a beer Fallout fans can enjoy.”

Unfortunately the beer is only available in the UK and it is not cheap, a box of twelve bottles will cost you ?30 or about $46, which is almost double the price from a regular Carlsberg beer, then again it is a limited edition bottle, so expect premium prices. Expect to see the Fallout Beer when it arrives on November 5 while the Fallout 4 game will arrive five days later, so it is a great head start to stack up those beer for a long gaming marathon with Fallout 4. Hopefully we could see a real Nuka-Cola in the future, and not some prop on a gaming convention, maybe Pepsi or Coca-Cola would do something about.

Fallout 4 will be available for the PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on November 10, 2015.
