It might be too quick for us to expect a new expansion for Fallout 4, but we might be getting one real soon.
Fallout 4 was a hit that could be the game of the year for its open world and deep gameplay. But while you are still finishing the game at this point, a series of DLCs were already in the works.
Bethesda has already hinted about the DLCs for Fallout 4 back in September where players can expect to see it early next year. A Season Pass was already offered to fans on their purchase of Fallout 4 so they could have first access to the upcoming DLCs once it arrives, the Season Pass is priced at $30.
Though Bethesda also noted that there will be free updates from the likes of bug fixes and new game feature to enhance the players? gameplay experience. Going back to the DLC plans, the first one will arrive early next year and according to game director Todd Howard that will be multiple expansion packs for Fallout 4, but those were the only hints that he could provide, but he did added that all of the expansions will be created based on fan feedback.
Howard promises that the game will be huge, but not on its initial launch, he said that the first expansion will have a worth at least $40, but if players purchased the $30 Season Pass, they will get all the new paid content in a single pay.
The previous games Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas both received a series of paid downloadable contents, with Fallout 3 having a total of five in a span of 8 months in 2009. It received a Game of the Year Edition with all the DLCs included. If you are curious on what the upcoming DLCs might be, you can check out the Reddit thread discussions here.
