One of Bethesda?s major announcements during its E3 presentation this year was three more DLCs coming to the critically acclaimed Fallout 4. The first coming to us is another add-on that makes workshops more fun. This time, we?ll be able to tinker with new types of mechanisms, and building is probably going to become better than ever. Here?s what we know so far about the Fallout 4 Contraptions DLC.
Release Date And Pricing
If players didn?t buy the $50 Season Pass, they could still get the Fallout 4 Contraptions DLC for a cheap $5. Even better news is the DLC will be available sometime today. Despite being announced only last week, it seems Bethesda has been preparing the DLC for months now.
The description of the Fallout 4 Contraptions DLC reads: ?Machines that sort! Machines that build! Machines that combine! With Fallout 4 Contraptions, use conveyer belts, scaffolding kits, track kits, even logic gates to construct crazy and complex gadgets to improve your Wasteland settlements. The Contraptions Workshop also includes all-new features like elevators, greenhouse kits, warehouse kits, fireworks, armor racks and more!?
Like previous Workshop additions in Fallout 4, the player?s creations are limited only by his resources and imagination. Although it?s not as meaty as the Far Harbor DLC, we?re expecting fans from all over the globe showcasing their creations online.
Purely A Workshop?
Like the Wasteland Workshop, the Fallout 4 Contraptions DLC won?t feature a short questline to accomplish. But based on the trailer released at E3, we?ll still be having fun due to the sheer number of contraptions we can build. It looks like a lot of steel, circuitry, adhesive and aluminum may be needed to get the most out of the new Workshop items, so stock up on them now.
