Last February, Bethesda surprised fans by finally unveiling the anticipated first set of DLCs for Fallout 4. The three DLCs which are set to roll out from March to May will bring a lot of new contents to the game. Recently, the developer released a trailer for the Fallout 4 Automatron DLC, which is set to launch this month. The clip was short, but here are a few things we?ve learned about the DLC from it.
Release Date and Individual Price
The Fallout 4 Automatron DLC is scheduled to launch on March 22, and Bethesda has kept its word on releasing one DLC per month. As for the pricing, those who didn?t purchase the $49.99 Season Pass for Fallout 4 can purchase the DLC individually for $9.99.
Fallout 4?s Crafting at Its Finest Yet Again
The trailer shows off the depth of what players can build with the Fallout 4 DLC. It?s not just a simple mix and match of the robots available within the base game; instead, players will be able to create robots from a wide selection of robot parts that are both old and new to the game. From the trailer, we can see that building bipedal and even hovering robots is possible. Players will also be able to wield some cool weapons in the game.
Unlike the Wasteland Workshop DLC scheduled to launch next April, the Automatron DLC will not only feature new crafting options but will also have a story of its own. Players will have to face off against a mysterious being called the Mechanist and his evil horde of robots that are rampant in the Commonwealth. The robot-building mechanic is the main attraction of the Fallout 4 Automatron DLC, but fans can expect a good story with the game?s quest line.
