It is high time to create a mobile game of Fairy Tail. In fact, it?s surprising that Funimation took this long to come up with such brilliant idea. Originally a manga series, this anime adaptation of Hiro Mashima?s story has a generous share of aficionados, which will make its mobile game version a huge treat for fans.

According to Develop-Online.net, Funimation Entertainment, together with GameSamba and NGames Interactive Limited, is working with Kodansha ?to develop and publish an officially licensed mobile game? that is adapted from Mashima?s popular manga. Based on the report, the ?Fairy Tail? mobile game will be available on Android and iOS devices. The game is expected to come in multiple languages since it will be made available worldwide. It is also expected to be released toward the end of 2016.

So what can fans initially expect from the Fairy Tail game? It will be a mobile RPG and will feature a new side story which of course will based from the anime. It was also noted that the objective of the game is to form the most powerful team of wizards, thus, players need to recruit their team members.

As for the upcoming release of the 19th installment of Fairy Tail Anime DVD/BD, Funimation promises to give its fans 14 episodes. Fandom Post says this installment will come with extras such as episode commentaries plus ?a new Guild Pride: Lamia Scale and Guild Pride: Blue Pegasus, and the Textless Songs.?
