Emmy Awards 2016 Predictions

The 68th Primetime Emmy Awards was unsurprisingly filled with wins and losses. And yet the ceremony could only get more exciting through the years as so many questions were answered. It was made known that Game of Thrones remains to be the King of the North. The comedy series, Veep also obtained a favorable verdict.

The nominees for the Primetime Emmy Awards were previously announced in July 14. Since then, fans were all excited for the award ceremony to take place until finally, the much awaited event happened today. Emmy Awards 2016 was held at the Microsoft Theater. It was hosted by Jimmy Kimmel.

The red carpet was filled with the biggest names in the industry, which included former Must See TV NBC stars. Jerry Seinfeld is one of them. According to Seinfeld, the Emmy Award 2016 is his first time to be back after 19 long years. His long time running series, Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, was nominated for the best variety series category.

Stars Shine at the Emmy Awards

Marcia Clark and Marcia Clark arrived for the red carpet together. The two ladies were all smiles which made them among the cutest in the red carpet. Emilia Clarke of Game of Thrones was also spotted. The actress said viewers can expect to see less people from the hit series.

As always, the Emmy Awards was graced in style. Several celebrities opted to wear fabric in eye-catching colors. These include Kathryn Hahn, Trevor Jackson, Tori Kelly and Brad Goreski who had definitely made a statement.

As for veteran character actor Jonathan Banks, he attended the event for two very specific things. He admitted that he came for dinner and alcohol. Banks has already been nominated four times as a supporting actor in the 80s drama, Wiseguy, as well as on Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul which are some of his most recent works. After three loses at the Emmy Awards, Banks surely knows how to manage expectations.
