Unlike its very close competitors, nothing seems to be holding back Sony in releasing another gem from their flagship of smartphones this year. It is rumored that the Sony Xperia Z3 will be released this September, battling along the scheduled release of Samsung Note 4.
Sony has released Xperia Z February 2013 and not long after, the Z1 version of it was introduced. Early this year we caught the Z2 resting in glasses of water in Sony’s provocative effort to declare it as the most powerful waterproof camera smartphone in the market. Not a bit surprising anymore, knowing Sony, here comes the Xperia Z3.
Impressive chassis is expected which looks firmer with a metal frame. Reports added that its PVD coating makes it resistant to rust and not readily caught by scratches. This will be a good feature to look forward to. Curved corners are inevitable according to the leaked pictures and screen stays at 5.15″ at a competitive resolution against its current equivalent from the other brands. Not bad with the 1080p screen resolution.
Other reported features include the camera at 20.7 megapixel, upper and lower speakers, 3GB RAM, and a front camera of 2.1 megapixel caliber.?
It is said that this device will run Android 4.4.4, which is a little disappointing for some since a lot have been quite familiar with Kitkat already.? Many “techie” smartphone owners were already hoping Sony will take the lead in ushering Android L, but it’s highly unlikely at this point with the Z3.
While most skeptics believe that Z3 seems not to be the “big upgrade” they’ve been waiting for from the robust Z2, the performance of the early testers seems to be majestic enough as it is able to support multi-tasking of apps, even the larger ones that we know.
Until the new Z3 is revealed, it will?remain the talk of the “leakers” in cyberspace.
