Everybody knows how awesome Ed Sheeran is. But who would’ve guessed Ed Sheeran would use a Snapchat filter to endorse his new music?! Hands down, hands down.
For those people who still haven’t listened to Ed Sheeran’s new song; might as well go to Snapchat first and wear a rockin’ pair of sunglasses while jamming to Ed’s new music.
Ed Sheeran Snapchat Filter
The Ed Sheeran Snapchat Filter featured a 30-second clip of his new song that was just released today. But even though the filter features a 30-second clip of Ed’s new song, “Shape of You,” users are (still) only allowed to upload a 10-second video.
And just because people call it the “Ed Sheeran Snapchat Filter,” it doesn’t mean users get to be as adorably ginger as Ed Sheeran.
Users won’t immediately notice the icon of Ed Sheeran’s Snapchat Filter at first. Especially since it blended in with the filters and may strike everybody as “just another filter on Snapchat.”
But simplicity can be deceiving. And it’s one of the reasons why a lot of people love Ed Sheeran. AND this Snapchat filter.
Snapchat users will immediately hear Ed Sheeran’s beautiful singing voice with blue sunglasses on their eyes and colorful flashing lights. What’s not to love, right?
Additionally, Mashable reported that Snapchat hasn’t responded yet on how long the filter will be available on the app.
Ed Sheeran Releases New Music
Luckily, fans won’t have to wait for new teasers and filters just to hear Ed Sheeran’s voice through their earpods. Since the singer-songwriter/life-changer released two of his tracks this midnight, everybody just suddenly became all sorts of emotional.
As promised, Ed Sheeran released two new tracks, entitled “Shape of You,” and “Castle on the Hill.” Which, according to Ed Sheeran himself, was his way of making up to all of his fans for his long unexplained absence. (You’re forgiven.)
Spoiler Alert! The songs are worth the wait.
Fans can listen to Ed Sheeran’s “Shape of You,” and “Castle on the Hill,” available on iTunes and Spotify. On the other hand, Ed Sheeran’s Snapchat filter is still available on Snapchat.
Stay tuned to TheBitbag for updates on Ed Sheeran and his new album.
