How to Use the Slide App When Shopping In-Store
If you are dining out, buying groceries, or availing of any services from a partner merchant on Slide, simply select the merchant on the app and input the bill amount inclusive of taxes or tips.
After confirming the payment details and clicking on Pay, the payment method you added will be charged and you’ll receive the applicable cashback almost immediately. Simply show the Slide barcode to the cashier to complete your purchase.
How to Use the Slide App When Shopping Online
When shopping online, select a participating merchant on the Slide app, enter the purchase amount, and confirm the payment. Your payment method will be charged with instant cashback and you’ll be shown a barcode and an online serial number.
Simply copy the Slide gift online serial number and paste it into the merchant’s checkout gift card field to complete your online purchase. All of the brands on the Slide app offer 4 percent cashback, and there’s no limit to the amount of cashback you can earn.
Moreover, you can enjoy an extra 1 percent cashback in addition to the 4 percent when you add money to your Slide balance and make payments directly using your Slide balance. This way, you also enjoy faster payments compared to your primary payment option.
