LG announced the LG G5 smartphone at Mobile World Congress at the end of February. However, the device is yet not available for purchase in the market, but now, pre-orders are available for T-Mobile customers.
The website just went live so T-Mobile customers can register and place their order at the site, notes Smartphone.news.
Samsung also had launched its flagship devices, Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge on Mar. 11. This makes LG little bit behind, but it was launched this year earlier than last year.
Diehard fans would only be looking at the earliest possible details online to pick up the device or pre-order it. Pre-registering to notify could be a good one for these customers. Pre-registering with T-Mobile would notify through email about the launch date and its availability.
However, as of now, LG has not made any official statements or any carriers that are offering the LG G5 on their networks at the exact launch dates or pricing details. The company has announced that the device would be up for an early April release in the US. It could be possible that T-Mobile would be offering the devices within the first couple of weeks. Similarly, other major carriers would pick up the LG G5 on their networks in April first week.
According to Android Headlines, LG G5 would be available for pre-order at Best Buy on Mar. 18, which is just this coming Friday. However, T-Mobile is currently offering a pre-order service of the device, and customers would only get it after the official launch.
Last month LG unveiled its flagship device at MWC in Barcelona for which the company had mailed out a select number of pre-production models to publications for reviews.
As just a few days are left for the official launch of the device, excitement among fans are rising and are eager to know what their favorite company would be offering.
