Drake?s Views, the Canadian rapper?s fourth studio album which was released back in April, continues to rule the Billboard 200 charts as it has been at the top for the ninth consecutive week.

According to Billboard, Views earned 111,000 equivalent album units in the past week ending on June 30, largely owing to its continued dominance on streaming platforms like Apple Music and Spotify. The steady reign has now solidified Drake?s Views as the third hip-hop album to hold on to the top spot for so long surpassing Eminem?s The Marshall Mathers LP with eight weeks at No. 1 and trailing Vanilla Ice?s To the Extreme with 16 weeks, as well as MC Hammer?s Please Hammer Don?t Hurt ‘Em with 21 weeks.

Drake also became the first male artist since Billy Ray Cyrus in 1992 to spend nine straight weeks atop the Billboard 200. The country singer and father to popular pop star Miley Cyrus had topped the charts with his Some Gave All album which dominated for 17 weeks.

Billboard also pointed out that within the last decade, the only albums to stay at No. 1 for so long were Taylor Swift?s Fearless and 1989 with 11 weeks each, the Frozen soundtrack with 13 weeks, and Adele?s 25 and 21 albums with 10 and 24 weeks, respectively.

The latest rankings are recorded by a new multi-metric consumption system which includes traditional album sales, track equivalent albums (TEA) and streaming equivalent albums (SEA) to rank the most popular albums of the week in the U.S.

Also this week, Beyonc??s Lemonade took the No. 2 spot with 48,000 units; The Avett Brothers debuted True Sadness at No. 3 with 46,000 units; Twenty One Pilots? Blurryface took the No. 4 slot with 38,000 units; and Rihanna?s ANTI rounded off the top 5 with 37,000.

Drake?s Views is also doing well on the Billboard Hot 100 tracks with his eight tracks on the chart. Four of his tracks are included in the top 50 with his ?One Dance? track at the peak position. One of his tracks is another collaboration with Rihanna, ?Too Good? which you can listen to below and check the lyrics here.

There have been rumors too of Drake releasing a secret track on Views.
