Drake Bell & Josh Peck Falling Out: ‘Ties Are Officially Cut’

Good news, Drake & Josh fans: Josh Peck finally married his longtime girlfriend Paige O’Brien in Malibu over the weekend. The bad news is his onscreen brother, Drake Bell, was notably absent from the event and judging from some of the actor’s tweets which have since been deleted, it looks like everything isn’t good between the two. What’s the deal?

Bell wrote a few posts about a wedding he wasn’t part of on Saturday. While he didn’t mention names, it’s pretty clear he was referring to his former co-star’s big day.

According to Buzzfeed, Bell tweeted: “When you’re not invited to the wedding the message is clear….” adding in a separate post that “Loyalty is key. ALWAYS remember where you came from.” In yet another one, he wrote: “True colors have come out today. [The] message is loud and clear. Ties are officially cut. I’ll miss you brotha.” The publication was able to get a screenshot of the tweets, which can be seen below.

To rub salt into the wound, Peck managed to invite some of his other colleagues like former Drake and Josh actor Jason Nash and John Stamos who he co-starred with on the 2015 FOX sitcom Grandfathered.

Drake and Josh BFFs No More

What a bummer. Their characters were the definition of friendship/brother goals back in the early 2000s. Whether the two was just hugging it out or both falling victim to their sister, Megan’s, savage pranks, they never failed to make us laugh. Now, it seems that Drake and Josh are officially no longer a thing. Of course, fans are just as sad about it as Bell is.

Before the apparent fallout happened, Peck and Bell’s friendship seemed fine on social media. In the last couple of months, both have posted several photos of one another from their Drake & Josh days, sometimes even getting quite sentimental. Sure, it didn’t spell BFF but it did suggest they were on good terms.

Back in February, Bell even shared that they both consider doing a Drake and Josh reunion, making the wedding snub all the more confusing. “We literally talk all the time, and we’re like a family,” he explained. “So, any opportunity that we could have to come back together, we’d love to do it. I guess with that said, we’re just having some fun.”

What went wrong?  Let’s hope his invite just got really lost in the mail. Whatever the case is, we’re sad to see buddies who were once close have a falling out, especially during one of Josh’s biggest milestones.
