Looks like not everyone can move on from the horrible live-action movie that is Dragon Ball Evolution.
Fan-made videos are everywhere, from cartoons to CGIs to live-action, it is one way for fans to show their passion towards their favorite game or TV series. Sometimes these fanvideos were even better than the actual series. Let us take for example this new fan video based on the Dragon Ball Z series.
Dragon Ball Z: Fall of Men was created by Black Smoke Film, produced by Yohan Faure and Vianney Griffon. The video focused on the Z Warriors battling against Cell, who was one of the deadly adversaries in the Dragon Ball Z series.
For more of the action, you can watch the 28-minute fan video right here
Here is the synopsis of the said fan video:
The World isn?t like it?s supposed to be.
Something happened along the way.
With these words TRUNKS reminds himself the arrival of CELL, the loss of his friends and his training for combat. While he knows he doesn?t have any chance, he will try to make the difference and bring back the lost hope.
This Fan Fiction was born from our desire to adapt DRAGON BALL Z into a film, while adopting a dramatic and realistic approach. THE FALL OF MEN is set in different future, inspired by characters of the DBZ saga, this untold story pays tribute to AKIRA TORIYAMA?s universe.
It is very impressive on how fans visualized some of their favorite series and turning them into a live-action film with some elements from the actual source being retained. Hopefully Hollywood producers and directors can learn a thing or two from these loyal fans and these people have more passion in making these media, and take note, these people do not even have a large budget to create these masterpieces, so you better step up Hollywood!
