Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2

Anime fans were instantly hyped for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 when it was revealed that Goku Black would be in the game as a pre-order character. The villain has dominated the Dragon Ball Super series since his debut, killing the wife and mother of Trunks. It seems like the villain can become even more powerful, as it was revealed that he has a transformation, making fans wonder if we will see it in the game.

Goku Black’s transformation was revealed on Saiyan Island. Apparently, fans caught a glimpse of this new look for the character in a piece of candy that Bandai Namco distributes in Japan. The transformation itself is interesting, as it looks similar to a Super Saiyan but with pink hair instead of blonde.

It’s interesting to note that Goku Black is not a Saiyan and might even come from a different universe, so this makes his transformation even more interesting. The character has an aura of mystery and fear, so this new transformation should make him seem even more deadly.

Considering the numerous transformations already confirmed for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, Black’s new form should be an interesting addition. The character has been a mystery, and the fact that he has yet to appear should make him a fighter fans pay attention to.

Other characters joining Black in the game include Turles (also a Goku lookalike), Janemba, Time Breaker Bardock, Android 16, Imperfect Cell and other characters from Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball Super. The first game already has a big fan base, so the numerous improvements and characters should make the sequel superior or at least better than the first game.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 has a ton of new gameplay mechanics, including the players? ability to fly around the city and a homing dash during battle. The other races now have transformations, making the Saiyans less overpowered, and there are new environments that can be explored. The game comes to PS4 and Xbox One on October 25, while the PC version comes out on October 28.
