Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 doesn’t always tell players the best combat tactics. While the game does show the mechanics of super and ultimate attacks, it only does so to a certain extent. One good example is the stamina break attack, which isn’t in the tutorial. Now we know that the Warp Kamehameha can be used as a regular super attack, not just an ultimate move.
Most fans will remember Goku using this move on Cell during the Cell Games. It was a fun moment in the show and has been kept as a move in various Dragon Ball games. Now fans will be able to do the move as well while not spending any Zenny or TP Medals.
Let’s Do The Warp Kamehameha Again
Logic dictates that fans need the Kamehameha to use this move, and that’s partially true. The move should be easy enough to get, as it’s a reward for one of the game’s early Parallel Quests. So why is it only partially true?
That’s because Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 allows players to use Warp Kamehameha and Warp Galick Gun. Players need to turn Super Saiyan and fully charge Kamehameha or Galick Gun. Once fully charged, the player will warp to the opponent and release the energy move. It seems like the move is exclusive to the Saiyan race, though it might be possible for Golden Friezas.
Mira’s Galick Beam Cannon can also be used as a warp super attack. Apparently, if the move is a chargeable beam of energy, it can be warped. This is probably why moves like Light Grenade do not have this warp feature, despite needing to be charged. Still, it’s a useful move that Saiyans should use, though it does overpower the race a bit.
With DLC coming soon, it will be interesting to see what moves are added. Kyabe (or Cabba) uses a version of the Galick Gun, so he might be able to use this feature as well. The noble Saiyan was able to turn Super Saiyan in the Universe 6 arc after all.
Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is available now on PS4, Xbox One and Windows PC. ?
