With Dragon Ball FighterZ coming early 2018, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 DLC Pack 4 will be the final DLC Pack. Dimps has done a good job with the game’s downloadable content, and it seems like they’re going out in style. The final DLC Pack is slated for release this month, and it should be a fitting conclusion for the title.
As most fans know, the DLC Pack will have SSGSS Vegito, Fused Zamasu and a brand new story chapter. It will detail the final moments of the Future Trunks/Goku Black arc of Dragon Ball Super, which is exciting. Here are a few things to expect from the final chapter of Xenoverse 2, based off the previous DLC chapter.
A Hard Time
Fans that played through the previous DLC story stated that it was more difficult than the main game’s story chapters. Previous updates allowed players to reach level 95, so grinding is needed for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 DLC Pack 4. Admittedly, it might not be as hard compared to boss raids or Expert Missions, but it should provide a challenge.
A Dub Preview
Since the Dragon Ball Super dub started in Toonami this year, the series hasn’t reached the Goku Black arc yet. This should be a nice teaser for fans looking forward to the dubbed versions of Zamasu and Goku Black. DLC Pack 3 did have select sound bytes from the characters, but the fourth will have them re-enact anime scenes.
It should be a treat for fans of the anime, especially with Sean Schimmel voicing Goku and Goku Black simultaneously. Some fans didn’t like his work from DLC Pack 3, but the actor could have better story interactions this time. Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 DLC Pack 4 is the last one after all, so fans want this to be epic.
No Concrete Conclusion
DLC Pack 2’s story chapter ended with the player’s avatar going back, with SSGSS Goku taking on Hit. Expect something similar for this chapter, with the player only helping out during a time mishap or unexpected power surge. Images have shown Goku Black and Zamasu getting a dark power up, like the other villains in the game.
Expect to see Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 DLC Pack 4 by the end of the month. The main game is available now for PS4, Xbox One and PC with the Nintendo Switch version coming soon. Dragon Ball FighterZ is slated for an early 2018 release.
