Thanks to dataminers, we can confirm that Super Saiyan Rage Trunks is in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 DLC Pack 4. Unlike SSR Goku Black, this new form of Trunks will be a character variation for Dragon Ball Super Trunks. Aside from the heavily requested transformation, fans are also getting new moves from Future Trunks, SSGSS Vegito and Zamasu.

Reddit fans discussed the datamining of the game, happy to be seeing the new Super Saiyan form of Future Trunks. It seems like the form will be called Super Saiyan Ikari, which is Japanese for rage, so no big deal. Overall, this should be a fine way to end the DLC support for Xenoverse 2, though fans would love more.

Feel My Ikari

Players weren’t sure if we would see this form in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 DLC Pack 4, hence the joy. Bandai Namco had previously teased the form, so it’s good to see the company try and please the fans. If we’re being honest, the DLC would have felt incomplete without the new form, so this is fantastic news.

Zamasu was only beaten after the combined might of Ikari Trunks and SSGSS Vegito, so fans needed this character transformation. The story scenario would feel incomplete without it, much like the Universe 6 scenario, which had a few missing characters. Dimps has definitely worked hard for this content, so it’s great seeing them do this after the game was finished.

No Monster Zamasu?

While the new Ikari form is in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 DLC Pack 4, we won’t see the monstrous Fused Zamasu. The Fused version of the villain is in the game, but it seems like his creepy final form won’t be. It’s a bit sad, but at the same time the developers are giving fans plenty of content to play with.

Aside from the new characters and forms, a number of new moves are also being added to the game. SSGSS Vegito’s Spirit Stab has been confirmed and custom avatars will finally be able to learn Burning Strike. Zamasu’s moves that were also unavailable at one point will be usable in the final June DLC Pack as well.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 DLC Pack 4 will be available sometime in June for PS4, Xbox One and PC. The main game is also available for purchase now, as are the first three DLC Packs via the season pass. DLC available include Cabba, Frost, Champa, Vados, SSR Goku Black and Zamasu.
