Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2: New Races Added To The Game?

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 will supposedly have more customization options than the previous game, which already had tons of options to begin with. While it would be fun to see the new abilities the existing races will have, it would be even more interesting to see some added races to the game.

The first Xenoverse game let players be Saiyans, Earthlings, Majins and the unnamed Frieza race. While all of these races were nice to see, the sequel could add even more races from the mythology of Dragon Ball. These characters have encountered a ton of alien races in their many adventures, and it would be fun to see a bunch of them represented.

One popular race that players could choose is the demon race. Dabura is one of the demons that the characters fought during the Majin Buu saga, and his sister appeared in the first game as one of the main antagonists. It would be fun seeing these characters get mad at one of their own kind for messing with their schemes.

Androids could also be added to Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2. Android 17 and 18 were some of the series? most popular villains when they debuted in the show, so having the player be one would make sense. Their ability types would be interesting, since the developers have tried differentiating each race from one another. Seeing a player?s Android avatar interact with the characters would also be intriguing, especially if the sequel will be revisiting the Cell Saga.

Could the Demon race come to Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2?

There are also a ton of alien races that Goku and his friends have encountered in the series, though they haven?t been much of a threat to the characters, outside of the Saiyans and Frieza. The developers could add Bojak?s blue-skinned race, but the custom avatar lets players change skin color, so that would be useless.

Even if new races aren?t added to the game, the sequel will already be better than the first game, thanks to new characters and a ton of new gameplay improvements. Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 will be coming to the PS4 and Xbox One on October 25 for the Americas and October 28 for Europe. The PC version of the game will also be released on October 28.
