Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is a month away, and fans are excited. The game already has a number of new characters to use, not to mention the new customization options. Things are about to get even better, as a video has confirmed another new character and anime cutscenes. These will definitely make any fan of Dragon Ball happy.

The new character in question is Meta Cooler. This is a mechanical version of Frieza’s brother, who is already confirmed for the game. It’s good to see his metal side appear as well. It will be interesting to see if Frieza’s mechanical form from the Androids saga appears as well.

Meta Cooler Army

Fans that have seen The Return of Cooler know that this isn’t his final form. He has actually merged with the Big Gete Star and can clone multiple versions of his mechanical self. A leaked video from YouTube user Burcol confirmed the army’s appearance.

This should lead to an epic battle in the game’s Story Mode. The player will probably help Goku and Vegeta during this fight in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2. The movie had the two Super Saiyans take on the would-be conqueror in the climax. Fans can also expect a giant boss fight against his Gete Star form.

Anime Cutscenes

Like the first game, there will be anime cutscenes. As fans can see in the video, it seems like there will be an introductory one for players. It’s likely that the video is set before the player makes his or her Time Patroller.

Judging from the video, it seems like no knowledge of the first game is needed. Granted, the villains from the first game return, but some exposition should explain them easily. Knowing the history of the Dragon Ball games, more anime cutscenes can be expected. Here?s hoping they are used to recreate some of the show’s best moments.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is available on PS4, Xbox One and PC on October 25. The game has a hub world that is seven times bigger than the original one. Those who pre-order the game can get early access to Goku Black (or just Black) right away. The game has a ton of characters from Z, GT and Super, which should please fans.
