There is plenty of gear and loot to get in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, which is part of the fun. Finding the best-rated gear is always great fun, especially if they’re from quests. One of the best items to equip is the 5 Star Time Patroller suit, which boosts the player’s stats greatly.
Fans will remember this outfit since it’s the same one that the first game’s default avatar wore in advertising. It’s a neat costume, looking like a cross between the outfit of Trunks and Dabura. Getting the costume might sound easy, but it could also be ridiculously difficult. How so? Let us explain.
Advancement Exam Cramming
Remember the Advancement Exams of Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2? Getting Z ranks for the first five tests unlocks a special sixth exam. This is pretty tough since it has players taking on Beerus and Broly in the end. However, taking them on is worth it as it unlocks the Potential Unlocked and the 5 Star Time Patroller Suit. Best of all, the colors can be changed, so it can be whatever the player wants it to be.
However, getting all of the pieces isn’t automatic. Even with a Z ranking, players might just get one or two pieces of the outfit. Players might have to replay the advancement test over and over, which could annoy some. Then again, those are used to the game’s Parallel Quests, so this might not be a huge problem.
Time Patroller Outfit Stats
The 5 Star Time Patroller outfit of Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is a big boost to the player’s health, ki and ki supers. However, the outfit decreases the other stats like stamina, strike attacks and strike supers. Since the entire outfit is a 5 star one, players might want to get multiple copies of it through the final Advancement Test, so they can make quality QQ Bangs.
Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is available now on PS4, Xbox One and Windows PC. DLC for the game will be coming soon, all of which can be purchased with the US$29.99 season pass. Kyabe and Frost have already been confirmed as characters that will be coming as DLC. ?
