Bandai Namco has confirmed that Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 DLC Pack 4 will be coming out in June. This comes as a bit of a surprise considering the third DLC Pack just came out for all systems. Players are expecting to see SSGSS Vegito, Fused Zamasu and an additional story chapter, along with additional moves and costumes.
YouTube personality Rhymestyle focused on this during the English trailer of the third DLC trailer, so that’s fairly exciting. Considering how the announcements for the DLC usually take place in the same month as it’s release, this is surprising. Bandai Namco haven’t revealed much about the fourth DLC pack, though SSGSS Vegito was confirmed for it already.
What To Expect
Like the second DLC pack, we will see an addition story chapter added in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2. This will cover the fairly liked Future Trunks/Goku Black arc, which will definitely excite fans of Dragon Ball Super. With this in mind, players are also hoping to see the Super Saiyan Rage form of Future Trunks.
Merged Zamasu and SSGSS Vegito are a given, so it’ll be interesting to see if there are any surprise characters. Bojack was a surprising addition to DLC Pack 3, so maybe his transformation can be added in DLC Pack 4. There’s also a number of costumes that will be added, with many hoping to see Hit’s attire for custom characters.
DLC Pack 4 is the final piece of paid content for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, so the company could work on a new Dragon Ball game after. Thankfully, the company will be adding a number of new online tournaments to participate in before the DLC comes out. New raid bosses should keep fans busy as well, with Masked Saiyan, Beerus and Frieza wreaking havoc soon.
It will be interesting to see if we get a Xenoverse 3 or a brand new Dragon Ball game sometime after. With the current popularity of Dragon Ball Super, there’s no doubt that there will either be a new Xenoverse or a new game coming after. Until then, players have a myriad of Parallel Quests and Expert Missions to beat, as well as a new level cap to reach.
Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is available now on PS4, Xbox One and Windows PC. The third DLC pack is available now and can be purchased separately or by getting the season pass. DLC Pack 4 will be out in June.
