In a recent trailer, Bandai Namco revealed plenty of news for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 DLC Pack 2. We get to see Cabba and Frost in action, along with some of the new moves that the new mentors will teach players. However, the biggest news might be the new characters coming to the game.
Back With Black
At the end of the video, it was confirmed that we would see more characters from Dragon Ball Super. Super Saiyan Rose’ Goku Black, Zamasu and SSGSS Vegito have all been confirmed for future DLC. Fans did not expect these characters to join the game, given how recent their appearances were.
Being able to eventually play as them should be a treat and could be enough for fans to buy the season pass. It’s not yet clear if the Zamasu in the game will be the one that fuses with Goku Black, but we’ll wait and see.
In addition to these characters, we will also be seeing Champa and Vados in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 DLC Pack 2. These two were confirmed last week, joining Cabba, Frost and Hit as representatives of the Universe 6 arc. Here is hoping we see a Universe 6 arena in the game as well.
More To Come?
Aside from the aforementioned characters, we still don?t know much about Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 DLC Pack 2. New clothes and equipment for created characters is very likely, along with new moves. Fans are also hoping for more story content and Parallel Quests, which are usually the best parts of the game.
Speaking of new moves, five mentors (Android 16, Bardock, Cooler, Future Gogan, Whis) will be coming to the game as free DLC. Hit will also be a mentor but will be part of the first paid DLC pack with Cabba and Frost. It’s an interesting choice to make, since he’s already in the game, albeit as an unlockable character.
Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is available now on PS4, Xbox One and PC. The first DLC pack will come to consoles tomorrow on December 20. All of the DLC can be purchased with a discount for US$29.99.
