The Dragon Ball Super English Dub has premiered and there’s still no Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 DLC news. Fans were hoping to see an announcement from Bandai Namco before or after the Toonami premiere, but that didn’t happen. However, it seems like a leak revealed the date for DLC Pack 2 and it could be great news.
Most of the content for DLC Pack 2 remains a mystery, but what is known excites Dragon Ball fans. Champa, Vaddos, Goku Black Super Saiyan Rose, Zamasu and SSGSS Vegito have been confirmed for the DLC Pack. Fans are also hoping to see some fun content for the free DLC Pack and update that comes with it.
Champa At The Bit
According to a YouTube video from Ventus SGN, we will see the second Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 DLC next month. A scan from a Japanese magazine confirms this, and gives a look at the models for Champa and Vaddos. If this ends up being true, this could be a great Valentine’s Day gift for fans of Dragon Ball.
However, in the same video, the user said the second DLC Pack might also come out on January 17. Fans supposedly told him this, so it’s not clear how reliable that bit of news is. Considering that the February release was shown in an official Japanese magazine, that seems more legitimate.
Free Stuff Coming?
If the previous DLC release is any indication, we might get more free Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 DLC. The previous free update gave fans new variations for Hit and SSGSS Goku, which fans ate up like candy. In addition to that, a free DLC pack was released, giving fans five new mentors to learn from.
Unlike last year, no data mining has been made, so we don’t know what possible free content could be coming. Fans would love to see Future Trunks get his Super Saiyan Rage form from the Goku Black arc. More moves and clothes would also be appreciated, so they’re likely coming soon.
Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is available now on PS4, Xbox One and Windows PC. All of the DLC can be purchased by getting the US$29.99 season pass.
