Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Beta Date And Time Announced At Tokyo Game Show 2016

Bandai Namco announced the Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 beta release date and time at Tokyo Game Show 2016. The company will host an open and closed beta sessions for the upcoming fighting RPG. Some lucky players will be able to join the closed beta which will start on October 8 at 5 pm and will run until 4:59 pm on October 10.

Closed Beta

Players in Japan can get a chance to join the closed beta by redeeming a code available in the Shuiseha?s V-Jump magazine. Bandai Namco has only shared details about the Japan region. There are no words about the closed?Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 beta?test for North America and Europe.

Open Beta

Once the closed beta finishes, the company will host an open beta which can be joined by everyone in all regions. The Dragon ball Xenoverse 2 open beta date is October 14, ?as confirmed by Bandai Namco. The event will start at 5 pm and run until 4:59 pm on October 16. Players will be eligible to download the beta version from the PlayStation Store.

What To Expect

Bandai Namco also announced at Tokyo Game Show 2016 that it will host the Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 World Martial Arts Tournament. They didn?t share specific details, but Bandai Namco assured fans that more information will be announced soon. The company said that the tournament will bring top players who will fight for the title of the best fighter.

Those participating in the Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 open beta will get bonuses once the game launches. The beta will be available exclusively for PlayStation 4, where players can explore the online component of the game.

Regarding the Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 beta on Xbox One and PC, Bandai Namco hasn?t shared anything specific. On its official tweet, the company mentioned that the beta session won?t be available for Xbox One. However, it has not confirmed whether they will host any such session or not before the game arrives. The game will be released on October 25 for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
