Fans knew Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 would have a lot of characters. Including transformations, the first game had about 50 or so, which is pretty impressive. Since the sequel is expected to keep the fighters from the first game and add more, the roster will be big. Will it have 85 characters or more though? It seems like it.
Dragon Ball has always been known for its large cast of characters. Having almost a hundred should please a good number of the fan base. It’s not yet clear if this will include all of the DLC characters, although it’s definitely possible.
According to YouTube user FreeStyle, the most recent demo of the game has 85 character slots. Some of them have already been taken by confirmed characters like Goku and Vegeta. Characters like Pan and Broly have also been confirmed. Others are blank, so it?s speculation time.
One interesting theory from the video is that Android 13 could be in the game. Like Lord Slug and Turles, Android 13 is a movie villain. Given the renewed focus on them, it would be fitting to see the southern android added to the game. His transformation will also likely be in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, if he’s in it.
Since older GT characters have been confirmed, maybe some new ones will be added too. Trunks could have his GT uniform as an alternate attire. Others like Baby and Uub aren’t official but would be nice to see, for the sake of variety. They could also be DLC characters, since the season pass has four DLC packs.
We could also see more Dragon Ball Super characters. Beerus, Golden Frieza and Super Saiyan God Goku will likely return from the first game. It will be interesting to see who makes it as DLC and who makes it in the disc right away.
Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is slated for an October 25 release on PS4 and Xbox One. The game will come to PC on October 28. Fans who pre-order the game can get early access to Goku Black from Super. ?
