Dragon Ball: Revival of F has just been released in Japan

Last year, December 2, 2014 was the premiere day of the highly anticipated The Last: Naruto The Movie. According to the statistics on Crunchy Roll, during its initial release on cinemas, the movie received an impressive box office and earned ?515,331,800. By the end of December, as stated on that source, it earned a total of 1.76 Billion yen (or $14.76 Million), making it the top-grossing film of the franchise?Jaw dropping and impressive, right? However seems like Dragon Ball: Revival of F beats The Last: Naruto The Movie big time when it comes to the box office weekend.

Dragon Ball: Revival of F tops The Last: Naruto The Movie!

Dragon Ball: Revival of F has already earned a total of ?960,586,350 on its first weekend, according to the recent report from Latin Times?it even beats the previous movie Dragon Ball: Battle of the Gods by 27.4 percent.

As mentioned on Latin Times, Toei predicted that Revival of F is going to earn a total of ?5 Billion on its domestic box office.

Dragon Ball: Revival of F plot and release date for other countries

As revealed on Saiyan Island, Frieza has been revived by his two loyal followers and elite soldiers, Sorbet and Tagoma by the use of the mystical and powerful Dragon Balls. Because of what transpired a few years back?future Trunks killing him and slicing him into pieces?he was now back to get his revenge only this time, Goku is also included on his list.

The movie features the brand new stage of Super Saiyan or as they call it the Super Saiyan God. It gives the characters a big boost on their power and a brand new hair color?blue. However, Goku and Vegeta are not the only characters that will go through a brand new power boost, Frieza also have acquired a boost hidden up on his sleeves?Golden Frieza.

For the diehard fans of Dragon Ball, this sort of stuff is pretty much the norm.

Forbes recently reported that Dragon Ball: Revival of F is going to be released theatrically in 74 countries including the U.S. however, as for the exact date, there?s still no news about it but let?s just hope that they release it sooner.
