This week Ubisoft will probably unveil a new gameplay trailer for The Division Survival DLC at Gamescom 2016. At the Ubisoft Lounge, an area dedicated to fans, the company might introduce the second expansion for its third-person shooter. The studio is celebrating its 30th anniversary and promised fans exclusive announcements.
During E3 2016, Ubisoft introduced the Survival expansion pack for The Division. The company revealed little information about the upcoming expansion, which is part of the first year of content the studio has planned for the game. The paid DLC will be the second expansion and features survival elements.
The trailer released from the E3 stage showcases an agent surviving without supplies and food. The extreme weather conditions make his survival more challenging. Later, the agent appears to be surrounded by Rioters, the people who can pose extreme threat after the virus outbreak.
According to the studio?s associate creative director Julian Gerighty, the The Division Survival DLC pack will be released in September this year. The company has already released the Underground DLC on all platforms. Initially, players faced problems with the recently launched expansion pack, but Ubisoft finally managed to fix the problems.
The new Survival DLC has not been detailed by the developer. Gamescom 2016 seems to be the most suitable time for the company to unveil gameplay and content details.
After The Division Survival DLC release, Ubisoft will introduce the third expansion pack called Last Stand. The company has not shared any details about this DLC pack, but it seems that the new content will arrive sometime this year. As we only have a few more months left for the year, there is a high possibility that the company will share Survival DLC details and launch the expansion pack soon. Until then, players can explore Manhattan in the underground DLC.
