The Division Guide: Tips On How To Start The Game Well

By on

The much anticipated RPG shooter from Ubisoft, The Division, is now upon us and agents worldwide are already on their journey through mid-crisis New York. There are several factors affecting an agent?s success in The Division but knowing the basic tips and know-hows early on will do wonders till the end.

YouTube channel Arekkz Gaming recently released a handful of tips for those starting out in The Division. It will even be more useful to players who are really fresh from the game, and have not gotten their hands on the recent beta periods. Below are some of the things players should know early on in The Division.

Don?t Forget The Uplay Rewards

Ubisoft developed The Division, and as such, the game is included in the Uplay rewards system via Ubisoft Club. Those who have extra Uplay points should go on to the website and see what Ubisoft has in store from them. There are a lot of items available including additional cosmetics. What?s even better is that there are free Dark Zone Keys and crafting items to redeem. However, these free Dark Zone keys should be saved up for when the player really needs it.

To redeem these rewards, players will need to access their Ubisoft Club accounts to get the rewards. From then on, they should speak to the Rewards Claim Vendor at the Tech Wing.

Level Up Easy

As with other RPGs, leveling up in The Division requires a bit of grinding. To get more experience early on, it?s advised that players accomplish Security missions first so they can unlock the Experienced Agent perk. This perk increases EXP from all activities accomplished by 10%.

Dismantle, Don?t Sell

Unless you?re short on funds, it?s better to dismantle your excess equipment rather than selling them for cash. Dismantling gives players crafting items which can be used for creating a list of items.

Be A Helpful Agent

The Division?s New York is home to a lot of baddies. It also houses a ton of innocent civilians as well. Helping out these non-hostile NPCs will reward players with EXP and precious items like cosmetics and powerful weapons.
