The Division is still a few days away from its March 8 release, but Ubisoft has already outlined the numerous free and paid content we can expect from the open-world online shooter post-launch. As part of The Division Year One, the developer is rolling out two free updates and three The Division paid DLCs.
The Division DLC Year One Outlined
The first free update, titled Incursions, releases in April. This add-on will see the addition of high-level endgame content designed for four-man squads. According to the the official Ubisoft blog, players will face ?nigh-unstoppable enemies for high-level loot.? Incursions will also see the addition of the loot trading feature which allows co-op teammates to share their spoils with other members of their squad.
Following Incursions is the free Conflict update that ships in May. This will add a new feature in the DarkZone PvP mode as well as an additional incursion set in New York City?s Columbus Circle.
The three paid DLC of The Division will be available to all season pass holders as well owners of the gold or collector?s edition of the game. The Underground expansion, which drops in June, tasks you with hunting for enemies in the labyrinth of tunnels and subways that run under Manhattan. This will be followed by Survival later in the summer, which will challenge you to survive for as long as you can in a very dangerous environment while being forced to look for supplies and equipment. Wrapping up The Division Year One is Last Stand. Coming in the winter, this expansion pits players against what Ubisoft calls a ?relentless, unstoppable threat.?
