A new Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth update will be coming on March 10 and it will add seven new Digimon to the turn-based RPG. This is great news for those who are still playing the game or are replaying the game through New Game Plus.
Gematsu has confirmed that the seven Digimon coming to the update include the Burst Modes of ShineGreymon, MirageGaogamon, Rosemon and Ravemon. In addition to those characters, the update will also add Valkyrimon, Darkdramon and Chaosmon.
Once the update has been released, fans will simply have to follow the required steps of their Digivolutions. These haven?t been revealed yet, but fans better up their ABI for GeoGreymon and Gaogamon to get ready.
Interestingly enough, most of these Digimon appeared in the fifth season of the show. While it wasn?t as loved as the previous seasons, it does have its fair share of fans and it?s doubtful that anyone would complain about having more digivolutions to go through.
Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth seems to keep giving fans reasons to return to the game. Prior to the update announcement, Bandai Namco released free DLC mission packs that could be activated when in the detective agency. These missions weren?t walks in the park either, as some of them had very intense boss fights.
Fans will appreciate the love Bandai Namco and Media Vision have given Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth. There was a time when many thought that the game would never get a worldwide release, but now it?s available on the PS4 and PS Vita. It?s clear that the two companies appreciate the reception the game has gotten, hence the update and free DLC.
No other Digimon games have been planned for a worldwide release, though the recently announced Digimon World: Next Order has received a fair amount of hype.
