Mario Kart 8 might be one of Nintendo?s hidden cards to win the lonely fight against bad sales (there?s almost no competition with other gaming companies at this moment.) For once, Nintendo is on the right path by doing a good job of properly promoting an exclusive game under their almost ?dying? console. The Wii U. Mario Kart 8 is looking outrageously good that, Michael Patcher, long-time Wii U analyst thinks that Mario Kart 8 and the new Super Smash Bros will bring in a couple of million units sold for the Wii U and that Mario Kart 8 will exceed expectations.
According to Nintendo?s Mario Kart 8 director Kosuke Yabuki, the game is said to get the full Wii U potential from its full HD graphics and consistent 60 frames per second gameplay. However, in an interview for an issue in Edge Magazine, Yabuki said that, although Mario Kart 8 pushed the Wii U to its limits, there?s still some power left in it that they haven?t been able to utilize and that there are more things that they can still do and innovate with time.
There are loads of gameplay videos all over the internet, especially on YouTube and just by looking at them, you can safely say that the graphics are nothing short of spectacular, and that it is a very huge leap from the previous title Mario Kart 7. However, it?s not that easy to tell if it really does have a consistent 60 fps gameplay because YouTube and most video sharing sites, are limited to 30 fps only. The best way to find out is to actually play a game demo or watch it somewhere else where they allow 60 frames per second video uploads.
Mario Kart 8 will be out this month and it will feature a huge cast of features, both old remakes and new introductions to the mix.
