Recently, Blizzard Entertainment announced updates that?ll be implemented on Season 9 and in celebration of the Diablo 20th anniversary. Retro content, item updates, Greater Rift changes, and general gameplay tweaks have been confirmed in this update. Here?s what we know so far about the Diablo 3 Patch 2.4.3.
Diablo 3 Patch 2.4.3 Contents
According to the official Diablo 3 site, the Diablo 3 Patch 2.4.3 has some changes to be released along with the 20th Anniversary content for the game. The ?Darkening of Tristram? event this January will allow players to enjoy Diablo 3 dungeons that have the visuals and feel of the first Diablo game. Players will have to go to Old Tristram and enter a portal to access this event?s content according to the Anniversary patch video. Players will be able to see classic versions of the creatures and even ?The Butcher? enemy in the event dungeon.
Other than the homage event dungeons, some item sets are also going to get changed in the Diablo 3 Patch 2.4.3. The patch page only lists six items on the 20th Anniversary patch, but the developers actually listed more changes on the game?s test server patch. Fans should opt to read up if their sets are still useful or alright for the 20th Anniversary event dungeons. Other than that, general improvements to the Greater Rift and leaping enemies have been confirmed in this patch.
According to reddit_Dimcho?s thread on the Diablo 3 Reddit, the game?s fans note that there are still some heavy disappointment brewing among the community. However, this situation might be normal as some players have already shown disappointment every time the game gets updated. At best, the Diablo 3 updates could still be considered good but doesn?t answer some fans? requests in the game.
The Diablo 3 Patch 2.4.3 notes didn?t exactly specify the release date of this update. At best, the 20th Anniversary patch may arrive soon as the retro Diablo 1 dungeons were promised this January. Stay updated with more Diablo 3 news here on TheBitBag.
