Recently, Square Enix announced the arrival of the Deus Ex Mankind Divided System Rift DLC. The new expansion features a mission with Human Revolution character, Francis Pritchard. However, fans are asking if they can bring their progress to the new DLC. Here?s what we know so far about this issue.
DLC Information So Far
— Deus Ex (@DeusEx) September 21, 2016
As seen on the official Deus Ex Twitter account, only the international release dates of the Deus Ex Mankind Divided System Rift DLC has been confirmed. Even on its Steam page, official information about the DLC is scant. The System Rift DLC is an extra mission that tasks Jensen with Human Revolution?s Pritchard to infiltrate the Santeau Group and get the Palisade Blade. In the story, Jensen hopes to find more clues about the Illuminati while doing this mission with Pritchard. Fans are still worried about the exact details of this upcoming DLC especially if it?ll have the ability to port save file progress in the DLC.
Standalone System Rift
In Prawns_Ready?s thread on the Deus Ex Reddit, Reddit user Sajius460 confirmed that the Deus Ex Mankind Divided System Rift DLC is standalone. Players cannot bring their progress from their normal game save file and will have to make do with the resetted Jensen. Reddit user Benevolay confirmed that players are supplied with 13 Praxis Kits to customize their Augments for this standalone DLC. Potentially, the DLC may have a unique hub area or it will just place you in the starting area of the mission since it?s standalone.
No Save File Transfer Means Survival Time
It looks like fans may have to put in extra effort as kits are not enough to build a lethal, stealth, or hacker Jensen in the map. At best, take every experience you can get to keep unlocking more augments for your convenience. It’s not yet confirmed how difficult?Deus Ex Mankind Divided System Rift is going to be. At best, your own Deus Ex Mankind Divided experience will do nicely in this mission.?
