Deus Ex Mankind Divided System Rift DLC

Recently, the official Deus Ex Twitter account announced the release time of the Deus Ex Mankind Divided System Rift DLC. The release dates slightly differ on each console and region. Here?s the tweet that confirms the release of the new DLC.

Different Release Dates

As seen on the official tweet, North American players on Steam will receive the update first. The updates will arrive on the other consoles and regions until September 23.?

First DLC Expansion

According to Deus Ex Mankind Divided Season Pass on Steam, the Deus EX Mankind Divided System Rift DLC is the?first of the two expansions coming in the game. The next one will be ?A Criminal Past? which may potentially tangle the player with characters from the previous Deus Ex games.?

Old Characters Show Up

In Deus Ex Mankind Divided, the previous Human Revolution main NPCs show up or get mentioned in the actual game. Jensen?s former boss David Sarif, ex-girlfriend Megan Reed, and even the Human Revolution navigation partner NPC Francis Pritchard also show up in the game. Fortunately, Pritchard is confirmed to appear in the Deus Ex Mankind Divided System Rift DLC.

Pritchard?s Appearance

In the previous Human Revolution entry, Pritchard was shown to be a slightly hostile NPC that warms up to Jensen as he continuously works with him throughout the missions. Mostly, Pritchard?s work as a Security Expert in Sarif Industries allows him to hack through systems of Jensen?s mission areas. Additionally, Pritchard also does important person background checks for Jensen during his missions. Pritchard?s role and personality have since been allocated to different characters in new Mankind Divided.?Fans fond of the previous entry may expect more humorous banter coming from Pritchard in the upcoming Deus EX Mankind Divided System Rift DLC.

The pre-order bonus mission dubbed “Desperate Measures” required players to start with a new save file. Ubisoft seems to have chosen to do this for the pre-order bonus mission as the mission?happens in the middle of Mankind Divided’s storyline. If System Rift follows the same path, players can expect to have their inventory and augmentations reset. ?
