?Deus Ex: Mankind Divided? has finally gone gold, which means that the game’s August 23 release date is final. This is great news for fans of the game, since they won’t have to worry about any last minute delays like other games have suffered from in the past. Now, fans only have to wait for a month to get their hands on the epic game.

The sequel to ?Deus Ex: Human Revolution? had suffered from a number of problems before going gold. Fans still remember the awful pre-order craze that publisher Square Enix tried to implement, where the number of pre-orders would determine what would be given away. This rightfully angered fans and the publisher quickly discontinued the asinine tactic.

Fans will also remember that ?Deus Ex: Mankind Divided? was delayed for six months. The title was supposed to come out on February 23, but was delayed so that the game would be better. Most games only get delayed for two or so months like ?No Man’s Sky,? while others get delayed constantly like ?Mighty No. 9.?

Still, it’s nice to see the sequel to the last Deus Ex game get the gold treatment. The game’s going gold announcement was announced on Twitter by Square Enix, pretty much solidifying the news for those doubting this would come to pass. Now the only thing the developers have to worry about is living up to the ridiculously high standards of the first game.

Like this gun, Mankind Divided has gone gold.

Well, that’s half true. The game might be finished, but since it’s a month away, the developers will have to make sure there are no game breaking bugs that might anger gamers. Should any occur, fans can expect a few updates to fix those when the game comes out.

?Deus Ex: Mankind Divided? is slated for an August 23 release date on the PS4, Xbox One and Windows PC. The game is a unique blend of first-person shooting and stealth, with some RPG elements that add depth to the combat. Fans can also expect plenty of difficult choices to make, along with an alternate ending or two that will add replayability to the game. ?
