The FPS MMO RPG hybrid game from Bungie is looking to finally fulfill their promise of giving the best video game experience for all with Destiny The Taken King DLC and more details about the game has been released as it nears its release this September 15. However, some of the announcements doesn?t look too promising.

Destiny Requirements

According to Tech Times, Bungie will require all users of Destiny to install a hefty update regardless if they do not purchase the expansion as numerous fundamental elements of the game will be changed. This is going to be a big problem for last gen owners who own old console models that only have 20 GB or 40GB storage.

?The Taken King bumps Destiny?s total space requirements up to 30 GB on Xbox 360 and Playstation 3, which is more room than some models of both consoles offer. It also pushed the space requirements up to 60 GB on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One,? Tech Times reported.

Bungie is suggesting console owners to upgrade their low storage in order to play the game, the report said.

?Upgrade your console- your Destiny Characters, gear, and progress will currently transfer if you upgrade either from PS3 to PS4 or from Xbox 360 to Xbox One,? the official Destiny website said.
