Destiny, alleged to be the most expensive game ever created, is now available for pre-orders for both PS3 and PS4 versions via the PlayStation Store.
The official announcement posted at Sony PlayStation Store required players to register first at Bungie.net and Join Up (New Users) or Sign In (Existing Users) to link the PSN ID and Bungie to ensure that players would be notified of BETA details.
Aside from pre-orders of Destiny for PS3 and PS4 which are priced at $60 each, the announcement also said that if you?d order one, you would have ?access to the Destiny BETA when it becomes available.
It could be remembered that last year, Activision announced that the PlayStation pre-order includes beta access, which is scheduled to begin in July.
DESTINY and GAME DETAILS
Destiny is an upcoming multiplayer online action role-playing first-person shooter video game developed by Bungie and published by Activision.
?In Destiny you are a Guardian of the last city on Earth, able to wield incredible power. Explore the ancient ruins of our solar system, from the red dunes of Mars to the lush jungles of Venus. Defeat Earth?s enemies. Reclaim all that we have lost. Become legend.?
Destiny will focus on the journey of the Guardians, who are the last defenders of humanity, set to protect Earth’s last city. These Guardians are divided into three distinct races, namely: Humans, Awoken, and Exo. Aside from the said Guardians, players can also choose a “class” to go alongside their race, namely: Hunters, Warlocks, and Titans.
With Destiny, players, who can venture out alone or join up with friends, will embark on an epic action adventure with rich cinematic storytelling. In here, players will unravel the mysteries of the universe and reclaim what was lost at the fall of the Golden Age.
Moreover, players can create their legend. How? Players can personalize and upgrade every aspect of how they look and fight with a nearly limitless combination of armor, weapons, and visual customizations. Plus, the upgraded character can be taken into every mode of the game, namely: campaign, cooperative, social, public, and competitive multiplayer.
Excited to play? The full game of Destiny, which was alleged to cost $500 million to develop, will be available on September 9 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One and Xbox 360.
