After the teaser image for Destiny 2 a few days ago, Bungie revealed a teaser trailer ahead of the game’s full trailer this March 30. The trailer once again confirms quite a few things from the past months of leaks for the game. Here’s what the Destiny 2 trailer confirmed from the Mega Bloks set from January.

The recent Destiny 2 trailer has revealed quite a few interesting plot details about the coming game. Aside from the new plot details, the Destiny 2 trailer confirms the Mega Bloks’ set pointed out by players a couple of months ago, says YouTuber Arrekzgaming. Players should be really excited as a ton of new challenges are awaiting players in the sequel.

The video confirms that there is a new Cabal faction to face in the sequel called the Redguard. The frightening new Cabal is huge and Arrekzgaming notes that it could be a high ranking Cabal for players to face. Before the new trailer, the Red Guard was already revealed in the Mega Bloks set from January.

One of the Mega Bloks’ set description was “wielding his Raze-Lighter, hero of the Crucible Lord Shaxx prepares to pit his blade against the furious cleavers of a Cabal Red Guard.” Just like in the trailer, the Cabal Red Guard did indeed have cleavers for weapons. The only difference is that it was Cayde and Ikora who was fighting it and not Lord Shaxx.

If the details in the Destiny Mega Bloks set are indeed true, then it may also confirm a few things from the set that could be coming to Destiny. Other product descriptions include:

  • Buildable Goliath tank with rotating turret and articulated jets
  • Tank fully opens to reveal interior troop bay
  • Four highly detailed, super-poseable micro action figures include Commander Zavala, one Cabal Phalanx, and two Cabal Psion
  • Zavala comes with detachable armor and Answering Chords auto rifle
  • Cabal figures come with detachable Siege Dancer armor, weapons, and shield accessory

Players should take note of the Goliath Tank with the opening latch to reveal an interior troop bay. It’s possible that Destiny 2 will allow Guardians to get into Goliath Tanks. Meanwhile, the players that pointed out the Mega Bloks set have speculated that players will be able to fight alongside NPCs in the sequel and based on the trailer, it could be a possibility. Players will be able to see the full trailer on March 30 at 10 am PST/ 6 pm BST
