After months of anticipation, Bungie has officially revealed the sequel for 2014’s Destiny. While the original game wasn’t a big hit with players, the game has gradually gotten better and Bungie has definitely learned from the game’s original release. The official Destiny 2 teaser also seemingly affirms a few new things about the possible subclasses coming to the game. Here are some of the possible Destiny 2 subclasses.
Bungie has officially announced Destiny 2 on its Twitter account. While there are no other details regarding the upcoming title, the image for Destiny 2 follows after of the leak from last year by Aziz Dozmetov who’s an artist from Bungie. Dozmetovs’s concept arts and the official teaser reveal a few things about the game, but one of the highlights in the artist’s leak are the possible Destiny 2 subclasses.
Youtuber Arrekzgaming noticed something very interesting in the Destiny 2 reveal. He noticed that it showed the Traveller and what looks to be the Last City in flames. Bungie is set to fully revamp the series with the sequel and forging something new is the theme, thus the fiery setting of the leaks and the reveal image.
Reddit user TravelerHD has a hold of the leaked images from last year on Imgur, and the game could potentially have some neat subclasses in the game. The leaks show off three possible Destiny 2 subclasses.
The images show off guardians carrying a shield, a sword, and a spear. Most notably, one of the Guardians even had wings. We’ve yet to know if these images do become part of the game, but based on the current theme of the Destiny leaks and reveals, the images from Dozmetov looks pretty authentic.
We can expect Bungie to reveal more about the game in the coming months. Since E3 is slowly coming up, Bungie could have big things in store for the game during the biggest event in gaming.
There are a few things we know about Destiny 2, one of which is with regards to how players can’t carry over their Guardians’ stats in the sequel. However, players can still carry over their Guardians’ appearance in the game.
Players are probably excited for Destiny 2’s gameplay reveal. After what happened with the first game, Bungie should’ve definitely learned a few things for the sequel. We might have to wait a while more for the full gameplay reveal.
