It’s been quite awhile since we’ve heard from Bungie’s sequel to Destiny but that’s all going to change later on tomorrow as we’re going to get a better look at the upcoming title. Bungie is readying a gameplay livestream for Destiny 2 and we couldn’t be more excited. Here are all the details of the Destiny 2 gameplay livestream and things we should expect from it.

Destiny 2 Gameplay Livestream Details

Bungie will finally debut Destiny 2 tomorrow with a gameplay footage. The livestream will start at 10 AM Pacific Time on May 18 and players can catch the new gameplay footage first hand on the game’s official website, which also conveniently has a countdown for the gameplay reveal. Players can also tune in on Bungie’s Twitch channel to watch the gameplay footage. Those attending the Bungie’s event are the luckier bunch as they’ll get to have a hand at the game.

What To Expect

Bungie is developing Destiny 2 with all the lessons they’ve learned from the first game. As Bungie has said before, Destiny 2 will be developed from the ground up so there may be little to no traces of the first Destiny’s gameplay in the sequel. Many are very excited to see what Bungie has in store for the sequel.

What Bungie could focus on during the Destiny 2 gameplay livestream is the game’s exploration system. In the first game, not many were fans of how Bungie developed the game’s explorable spaces due to it being small and restrictive. It’s technically a semi-open world as there are a lot of barriers that prevent exploration.

Areas felt event dull as they were empty and there was very little to do except to explore and kill enemies. In the sequel, Bungie might provide more open world content and hopefully, we get to see what they did during the livestream.

Another thing to expect from the gameplay livestream is a look at how much the combat has changed in the sequel. Bungie is more than likely to revamp the game’s combat since the one in the first game also felt dull and boring. We can expect to see new weapons, subclasses and more in terms of combat. Fans are also expecting to see the new enemies they’ll face in the sequel and many are hoping to see recurring enemies as well.
