Bungie is set to release the sequel to Destiny in September and the developer is doing its best to make up for the mistakes of the first game. Bungie isn’t shy on revealing new details about the upcoming title and with E3 2017 coming up, players are expecting to see more of the game. Destiny 2 might even steal the show if Bungie plays their cards right.

The developer is yet to detail what they’ll bring over at E3 2017 but players are expecting a few things this time with Destiny 2 on the E3 2017 stage. Bungie wowed gamers when Bungie revealed Destiny at Sony’s PlayStation Meeting in 2013, but it disappointment many when it finally came out. Bungie could wow audiences once again at E3 2017 and here’s what we could expect from them.

Spotlight At Sony Conference

Bungie struck a deal with Sony for Destiny 2 and the game will have timed exclusive items on the PlayStation 4. Seeing as Sony and Bungie are in a partnership with each other with regards to the game, there’s a good chance that the sequel to Destiny 2 will have its spotlight during Sony’s conference. Sony’s conference is scheduled on Monday, June 12 at 6 PM PT.

Beta Release Date

Bungie will be releasing a beta for the upcoming title for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Those who pre-order the title will be getting access to the upcoming beta which is expected to launch in the summer. No specific release date has been set for the beta but it could be revealed over at E3.

New Stuff

Bungie has revealed quite a few things about the upcoming sequel to Destiny already but there might be more features we’ve yet to see. The developer revealing more details about the upcoming title over at E3 2017 sounds pretty likely as there’s no grander stage than the upcoming event.

One of the confirmed highlights of Destiny 2’s time at E3 2017 is for one of the new subclasses. “What you haven’t seen is the new Arcstrider Hunter in player-driven action. The new subclass is being added to the mix. More people playing means more first impressions and more chances for you to think about the first Guardian you’ll create in Destiny 2,” says Bungie.
