?Nashville? fans have every reason to celebrate, at least now that the canceled ABC show is likely to continue and end up on CMT. According to Rolling Stone, while there?s still no finality on inking a deal with CMT, rumors suggest that the new deal will likely end with ?Nashville? transferring to CMT. Despite the good news, it was also revealed on Rolling Stone that Hayden Panettiere, who plays the role of Juliette Barnes, and Connie Britton, who plays Rayna Jaymes, may not be in the new season. News is that, Panettiere?s role has been carefully planned to end after the character of Juliette Barnes in the Nashville Season 4 finale was shown aboard a plane that went missing. Nevertheless, producer Kevin Beggs of LionsGate TV was quoted as saying that the two characters are indeed ?essential? in the progression and success of the show.

If there?s any reason for fans to believe that Panettiere and Britton will likely return on Nashville Season 5, that?s the fact that the two Hollywood actresses still have two seasons under their individual contracts. According to CNN, the return of ?Nashville? season 5 on TV has been largely influenced by the petition to bring back the show on television. Regardless on what network it well end up with, ?Nashies? want it back and they want it back soon. Beggs, however, revealed that even if the show wasn?t picked up, they will still adopt a happier ending, something that will make fans appreciate the show more than the cliffhanger state it was on Season 4.

In a previous report by TheBitBag, the outrage on the ending of season 4 was almost tangible. While some justified the outrage saying, viewers were robbed of a happy ending, it is Beggs? promise of an alternative happy ending that fans are hoping for.

What are your thoughts about Nashville Season 4? Was it cruel to present followers with such a disappointing ending?

To kickstart the continuation of the show, a scheduled international concert tour is set in the United Kingdom in five different dates. Starting June 13, Nashville casts mainly Charles Esten (Deacon), Sam Palladio (Gunnar), Chris Carmack (Will) and Clare Bowen (Scarlett) will lead the launching of the show?s concert tour.
