DC?s certainly gearing up for things before they even come. With Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad on the way with notable cast members joining in, it appears DC and Warner Bros. wants to go all out and revive a sort of rivalry between them and fellow comic studio Marvel, who has the upper hand in terms of experience in creating comic book films.

It?s nice to see different heroes for a change, but how will DC go about it?

Whatever the case, DC is gearing up with two more hero movies that might arrive sooner than we think?or at least, one of them might arrive earlier than written in the DC movies line-up. That movie in particular is Shazam, as per Den of Geek, and Dwayne Johnson is once again playing the guessing game with us. He teases an earlier screening date for Shazam, but of course, we know to take information like this with a grain of salt. Another exciting movie is Aquaman, which stars Jason Momoa in the role. As per Breathe Cast, the movie puts Jason Momoa on board for at least three movies.

Dwayne Johnson speaks for Shazam yet again

Dwayne Johnson plays the de-facto teasing role again for DC?s Shazam.

The movie, which features a teen who transforms into a super-powered mortal, is pegged by Warner Bros. to release sometime in 2019. However, if Dwayne Johnson is to be believed, he thinks that the movie won?t take that long to appear. He even praised the participation of the studio and revealed a bit more about his hero, where ?he starts as a bad guy but then turns into an anti-hero?. It?s a pretty nice plot, if you?d ask me.

Right now, Shazam is scheduled in DC?s official movies list as coming in the 5th of April, 2019. However, we might see a changing of the guard, depending on how well received the first DC movie is, perhaps. This could change things, if ever Batman v Superman turns out to be a surprise hit.

Jason Momoa: ?Aquaman will be bad-a**?

Jason Momoa seems to be ecstatic about his forthcoming role as the King of the Seas.

Jason Momoa, having bagged the role of the King of Atlantis, seems to be all pumped up about being Aquaman. He is set to appear in Zack Snyder?s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and that isn?t even counting his possible three other movies: a solo Aquaman film releasing in 2018, and two Justice League movies, set to arrive in 2017 and 2019, as per Breathe Cast. The article even quotes him as saying ?He (Aquaman) will be a bad-a**, otherwise they wouldn?t cast me for the role?.

Let?s take Jason?s word for it. His recently tweeted image is an awesome glimpse into the possibilities for the King of Atlantis, as well as what the movie might appear to be like. Jason Momoa?s appearance alone seems to turn the movie into something more than just a superhero flick.

DC?s Plans Moving Forward

A look at the posters seems to reveal part of the stories about the forthcoming movies. DC appears to be on track and serious about making these movies well-worth it, and that?s an exciting prospect for casual and hard-core fans of DC comics alike. Let?s hope that their other movies will be as hyped or at least more hyped up than these ones.
