After a long wait of seven years, Warhammer 40,000 Dawn of War 3 is coming from Relic Entertainment. As the E3 2016 event will be hosted next week, game enthusiasts are expecting more details from the developer, and it seems that Relic Entertainment has heard their pleas. On the game?s official website, the developer assured fans that a Dawn of War 3 gameplay footage will be showcased at E3 on June 13.
In the Dawn of War community, the developer revealed that the studio will be live at 11:30 AM PDT on June 13 during the PC Gaming Show, and it will show off a gameplay video. The developer also shared an image of an entry pass for E3 2016.
When the franchise was under THQ, fans lost all hopes for a sequel to the highly engaging real-time strategy game when the company was closed. Later, Sega bought the rights of the title, and along with developer Relic Entertainment, the publisher is bringing the game in the near future. Those who have been waiting for another installment of the futuristic warfare will now be able to enjoy a footage of the game. The announcement trailer, which was revealed last month, provided very limited information about the sequel.
The game doesn?t have a specific release date yet, but it is said that it will be released sometime in 2017. Sega has slated the release window for next year. As the developer has not revealed any single gameplay footage, it is really hard to say what?s coming in Warhammer 40,000 Dawn of War 3. Comparing the game with its predecessors is also not a good idea because the old titles from the franchise were a bit different from each other. Therefore, speculating on the ?Dawn of War 3 gameplay based on them won?t make sense.
The official website of the game states that Dawn of War 3 has three factions. Along with this, the game will feature cover mechanic which was introduced in the previous game, Dawn of War 2. The sequel is expected to feature an improved one this time. According to the official description and previous reports about the game, it seems that Relic has paid a lot of attention to suggestions by fans.
